EFFECT OF EMPLOYEE WELFARE PROGRAMS ON EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR IN KENYA

The general objective of the study was to explore effect employee welfare programs on job satisfaction in public sector Kenya, a case Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited. specific objectives were establish bonus, flexible working hours, insurance cover assistance Kenya. beneficiaries management Limited, other private organizations researchers. guided by Two Factor Theory (Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene theory), Locke’s Value Maslow’s Needs Hierarchy Theory. employed descriptive research design. target population 102 employees Company. Stratified random sampling method used study. Questionnaires containing close-ended questions administered respondents researcher. Correlation Coefficient calculated using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS). Quantitative analysis involved use tables, frequencies percentage. Inferential statistics such as correlation regression relationship between independent dependent variable. Results revealed that all dimensions had positive significant with .
